As a tulip by a pond
Glues its roots to its reflection
Lipstick sticks two lips together
In a bond of their affection

Lips did meet and froze their pose
Eyes are closed and years are passing
But as they separate their grasping
Water smears, and love is lost

Interesting, nice imagery. I liked it, but wonder if love is lost all together or just in the face of the pond?

I'll go with just in the face of the pond!
(I tend to be an optimist!) This is very good Master!
