The Lonely

Pounding waves

against the midnight soil

Swooping winds

across the surf

One lone figure

seeming to admire the view
Rough shadowy rocks

the greatest holding the girl

Bright orange interpretation

of a dying blaze

Its own color melting away

taking over the blue
The girl's face now shows

strain and determination

She stands

Looks up with crying eyes

Spreads her arms out wide

and gives herself to the Earth
Night had been deceiving

not giving the whole view

But having been in day

she knew how high it was

Giving up on this world

she moved on to the next
Every emotion flew through her

and showed in her wind blown face

The complete and utter surprise of light

The inability to walk

The first night away

The last word he'd said
Somewhere

from deep inside

came something

not expected

forgiveness to the last guy left

too bad it was too late
She missed her mother

all her life

And the rest

who passed on

Would she get to see them

or had that chance passed as well

"Oh God I am sorry for thinking too fast

only now do I realize

what mistakes I've made

please forgive me

I now accept your love"
Pale blue water

assuming the color of night

Two hands reaching out

to catch the falling spirit

And the words echoed from everywhere

"My child you are saved."

well... the poem's there, but the formating didn't come out very well...

When reading, act like all the spacing is reversed ;}

Wow! This is wonderful. If I didn't know what lonely was before, I would now. Very good!
