Like the old worn quilt, that hangs on the line
That blow's in the breeze, it will dry out in time
Absorbing the sent of the newly cast day
It will cover us gently as we drift away

When the day has ended, comes nights rest
And we lay together in our little nest
With patches of yesterday tenderly sewn
Hand quilted stitches blankets us home

With the fresh smell of daylight
That wraps us in awe
We snuggle together,
with a chill to the bone

But the warmth of the memories
That cradles us tight, and the
passionate kiss when we say good night
Soon heats up the moment
And everything's right
And one last time
We say good-night

The most snuggly poem I've ever read - and that's a compliment!
