Who can you be

to o'ershadow the light
of my moon, when your
sun is hidden by ebbs
in ocean tides,

open all my dark
heartedness, gain trust
when, alas, I haven't yet
caressed your face?

Who can you be

to search out my hidden
places, those spaces
I covered in grief
yet you have found,

shatter the meaning
of seconds, and hours
so only your presence
is yearned for now?

Who can you be

to cast such scorching spells,
melding all soul, and heart
I own despite the scorn
of distant time?

My magician,
come fly to me,
magic my soul
with touch

for

Who can I be

without the passioned flame
of you, my one love,
gifting my soul apart
with life a-fire?

I know you are but what am I????

Wow my star, ever you are echoing my thoughts...the most amazing part is that you think them of me. I am ever amazed and bewildered by your faith in me. I repeat again that I hope I can't meet your expectations... I would hate to fall from a pedastal, and be shamed before your eyes.

CAN'T meet expectations?
Methinks we have an encountered a typo...
LOL.
Oh - and kill the pedastal image - I'd kick it out from under you dear, it ever you thought you were on one!! But, faith in you I do indeed have - I'm your echo, so I'm amazed too at the faith you hold in me.
(Therefore - are we cancelling or confirming one another...??!)

SEVERN (yes, I have it right this time ) what an excellent expression of longing that I for one can very much relate to. This is well written and oh so romantic
