Gazing into your soulful eyes
Deepest brown, never telling lies
Cooper blonde shining hair
Oh my love your beauty fair

Body, sleek and curved just right
As you climb up on my lap tonight
Nuzzle my neck as only you can do
Where in the world did I find you?

A kiss to my check, a nip on my arm
You know no one will do you harm
I protect you as you protect me
Only I can see the heart of thee

Gentle and loving and everything fine
You are now and always will be mine
When at night to bed we go
You rest your head on my pillow

Although they call you box of rocks
I know you're as sly as a fox
Here you sit quietly at my feet
Comforting me with your body heat

What luck star was with me that day?
When I saw you and decided you should stay
I say, "stay back wicked deceiver!"
Seamus is my Golden Retriever!

Just to note Seamus is my golden,100lbs on pure love and energy. And true to his breed he's ever under foot!

Poor baby, can't even teeth on jammies to ease his poor misunderstood self. Seamus is a good puppy and very affectionate.

Oh, this one caught me off guard, and gave me a good chuckle. Thanks, Watcher ... looking forward to more.

AHHHHHH Watcher,
I thought you were speaking of your love of a woman..(she would be lucky) but it turned out to be a retriever.
This was good...I LIKE!!! ;-)

Aren't dogs grand? I'd have a hundred if I could manage it

Well, ok, 99.

Nice poem for your doggie!

I liked this! Nice little twist there! Love those dogs, they truly are the most unconditional when it comes to love. I have a border collie/blue heeler. She's my baby!

Excellently done, Watcher! Dogs can teach us alot about unconditional love! They're super! Wouldn't trade my dog or cat either for that matter for all the money in the world!
