How 'Bout Them Malcontents?

How 'bout them malcontents?
Ain't they brats?
Complain about this
and complain about that!
Complainin' at work
and complainin' at break!
Complainin' cause gripers
are in their wake!

How 'bout them faultfinders,
ain't they some crabs?
Gripin' 'bout buses
and they're gripin' bout cabs!
Grouchin' 'bout sunshine,
grumblin' 'bout rain!
All that darn complainin'
could drive a man insane!

How 'bout them malcontents,
ain't they coots?
Bitchin' 'bout everything
in this 'stute!
Crabbin' 'bout meatloaf,
crankin' 'bout pie!
Grousin' bout Dr. Moose,
kick him in the eye!

How 'bout them sourpusses?
They're here, you know!
Pablo, Michelangelo,
and ol' Van Gogh...
As soon as ol' Rockwell
comes on the scene,
crankin' at HIM,
if you know what I mean!

Everybody sayin'
that Norm can't paint!
Now ol' Rockwell is
the brunt of their complaint.
Just cause his name
don't end with "o",
he can't be an artist,
and they say so!

How to be a malcontent?
The question is moot!
Get yer crabby sourpuss
and come into the 'stute!

------------------
Mason Williams wrote a bunch of "How 'Bout Them" songs way back in the late sixties, early seventies (something like that).... I wrote this in keeping with the "how 'bout them" theme.... toerag reminded me of this tunes.... thank you, m'friend!.... it's nice to be inspired in the 'stute. Things here can get mighty bleak sometimes.

LOL... If all it takes is crabbiness, griping, complaining, and general bitching... I'm ready for my room! *G*

Justin...Mr. Williams used ta get on stage, with a clear guitar...with water in it, and gold fish swimming around. He did some unbelievable things.....not all funny as Them Poems, but also an incredible musician. When he did "Them Poems"...on his regular guitar, (of course there was no music)all he did was recite the "Them Poems" while tapping on his guitar with the palm of his hand then his finger tips....kinda like a "Thump/tap thump tap, thump tap...as he recited. An incredibly talented man....as Classical Gas proves!

How 'bout them nose pickers?
Ain't they neat?
Walkin' round town,
Just'a pickin their beaks.

Pickin' them green ones
Pickin' them red,
Pickin' them wooly buggers
Out they head.

Them everlovin' nose pickers,
Ain't they a bunch,
Pickin them honkers,
Havin' them fer lunch.

Wanna be a nose picker?
Don't need a ticket,
Just stick your fanger in it,
And pick it!

Justins: But I want a room next to TOE... uh... I mean, Mr. Rockwell! LOL. (Of course, I'd rather be IN his room... but I guess I'd better wait for him to make that request! LOL) Can I listen to the music??? Hunh, hunh... can I? I'll promise to not sing along... at least until after we've all had our meds and y'all don't care how badly I bellow! *G*

It's a good thing
That I'm the King
Cuz it's just swell
To have Rockwell

And all those artists
Singing pop hits
I hear it's said
That I am dead

But I refute
I'm in the 'stute!!
For here I can
Sing "Hound Dog Man"

Writhe and wriggle
Make Crachet giggle
And "Love Me Tender"
While on a bender.

Now what's this talk?
Who walks the walk?
This guy Mason
Say, what's he done?

He would not dare
Try to compare
Nary a thing
To top the King

Hey, cousin Justin~! Maestro! Don't sing too late at night, y'here? I hate it when all those young girls run over here screaming at the gate and they won't let 'em in and won't let US out!

You seen my brother, Justin lately? Justin Kace you did, thought I'd ask. I think he broke out. Cratchet was running around here like a wild woman hootin' and hollerin' and screamin' all kinds of nasty stuff last night looking for him. Under beds and everything. It was a trip! She had this broom in her hand and she was sweeping under the beds and in the closets thinking he was hiding in there. It was PERFECT! LOL.... she looked like the wicked witch of the west..... hehehe. I was laughing my ass off! I said to her, "Hey Cratchet! And you thought my brother Justin wasn't a painter? You thought he was NUTS? Well, I'll tell ya, he fooled you didn't he? He done painted himself a door and opened it up and walked right outa here!"

Well anyway, Justin Kace you see him, tell him to keep cool, 'cause cratchet thinks he really did break out and she ain't lookin no more.
