The Carpenter's Tool Chest

'What if' is a simple tool examining 'I had'
and gives some possibilities that
might have made you glad.
But it's not for construction.
And there's nothing it can change.
It doesn't even give us hope that it can rearrange.

What if is a mighty tool applied against 'I would'.
Intensifying power
when assisted by 'I could'
But if you need the strongest tool
you'll take out of the chest
the one that says 'a loving heart' and put it to the test.

Then if you want to use what if
to check out some I had
The carpentry is so unique
and built with perfect would.

Well thought out
Like the chest no doubt,
You mix and match
Your words of would
If only--
If only I could.

Top notch Ohme, well done
