A little girl,her innosence
lost,
Why did she have to pay such
a Cost?
They stole her spirit and her
and her strife,
This she would have to live
with, all her Life.

Why did this happen to a
child so frail and small?
Was this all her fault,
afterall?
Nightmares and visions of
this violence,
Tell me please,"Why were her
"so- called" protectors,swore
to silence?

Will she ever be able to love
and trust?
Am i the only one who feels
this was so unjust?
Will she be able with her
life,to carry on?
People tell her,"Suck it up
and be strong!".

Tell me please, where is the
damn justice,
Is everyone filled with such
cold heartedness?
Will she always have to pay
the price?
I guess her life will be
termined by the roll of the
dice.

Tell me please,"Why didn't,in
this little child,they
believe?"
For those who didn't
guess,this little child...Is
ME!!!

I'm just feeling pretty low
today...this is about how
people (my family) sweeps
things under the rug, so no
one can see the dirt in their
home... Please , believe in
your children and hold them
near...protect them...love
them...listen to them...if
they don't have you, they
have NO ONE!!! It took
another member of my family
to come forward and tell what
had happen to her too,only
then did they believe in
me..but it was too late by
then...the scars the damage
had been done!!!

You reached out and touched me deeply. I truly hope some day you will find love and trust again, even though you'll always have scars on your soul. Please do not lose faith, there are 'good' people out there : )

There is nothing more important than the sacred trust we have been given, our children. My heart breaks for all the hurting souls who have suffered abuse, especially at the hands of those entrused to love them. Very sad. You have expressed this heartache well.

A crime no child should have to bear, much less alone. *Hugs* My thoughts are with you.
