I can't Believe Anymore

Cry after cry,
I yelled you name,
Over and over,
yet there was no reply.
Though I still didn’t quit.
The time was coming.
Closer and closer after every plea.
Where there was your light
Darkness soon took over.
Tears of my once love for you,
Slowly hit the dark cold earth.
Prayers were never answered.
Hurt just came.
No love nor peace.
Just hurt.
I ask why?
But still there’s no answer.
And I wonder will there ever be one.
Not now.
My heart is too broken.
Too hurt and cold.
Too much despair.
I give up.
I tried and tried,
But no,
you weren’t there,
where you promised you would be.
Once I did believe.
But not now.
After all the hurt I’ve suffered.
I just can’t believe anymore.
Not after all the hell I’ve been through.

The emotion running through this poem just grabs me. It is almost like I can vision your hurt in the mirrors of my mind. I myself have had this feeling, and you said very well what I never could! Good job!
