When the Heavens Parted

I would stare into the sky
Searching for my inspiration.
Eyes cast into the heavens
Hoping for divine interpretation.

My heart yearned to know the meaning,
The beauty of true love
My hopes: a whisper on the wind
My prayers floated above.

Then one day it happened
An angel came into view.
When the heavens parted
It was then that I found you.

I'm planning on making him a book for Christmas. It would have all the poetry that he's inpsired from me. This will be the dedication.

Beautiful, Tara. And I'm sure he will love your book of poetry. Be sure to include the companion piece in Adult!

Most definitely, Ms. DeVine! This one is going to be the first one in the book. It's companion is going to be the last one.

Thank you, Julie, Denise, Pepper. Balladeer, let's hope he feels the same way when he receives it.
