In the passions of youth, the dragons are fierce
with many great things to pursue.
With deeds to be done and love to be won,
and preparing for what may ensue.

With the passing of time the passions subside,
and the dragons become less severe.
With love at one's side a peace grows inside,
and the best of one's life now is here.

In the twilight of life the dragons have died,
and the great deeds forgot or unclear.
But love still flows strong, and what may have gone wrong
is eclipsed by what we hold dear.

Echo, this is one of your best! I like the use of the dragon in this one! For one so young, you are so wise!
