Dear Lord

I can’t find the courage
To tell him how I feel.
You know how scared I am
Saying it makes it real.

If only he could read my heart
And see what’s written there
Then he’d know the love I hide.
Lord, please hear my prayer.

I feel so lost without him
Please bring him back to me.
I think we’d last forever.
Is he my destiny?

I want this so much
Don’t let my heart break again.
This is all I ask of you,
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am the captain of my soul.

Lovely poem Tara...life is too short to let an opportunity slip by to find true love. And if he says no? Then move on....find happiness where you can.!

Are you nuts?!? How can I tell him? Oh my God, my heart stops just thinking of it. My palms are sweating.

God and I are not on the best of terms right now Tara, but I hope He hears your prayers.

Tara,
Saying a prayer/poem like this is very powerful.
Lovely.

ACK! I did forward this poem to him, but I thought he'd be offline by now. I was counting on him not seeing this for a few weeks, until he gets settled into his new home. Oh, sheesh! While we were on the phone, he read it. He read all of your comments to me (including my own)! And I STILL DIDN'T SAY IT!
