This is a poem about a best friend of mine that I will never be able to thank enough for all that he has done for me. I find you irresistible in your ways of kindness. And I thank You so much for being there for me, when all I needed was a shoulder to cry on. You were always that shoulder, the only one. You talked to me, told me your secrets, and in return, I told you mine. You kept those secrets in your heart, and never told a soul. I in return, did the same with yours. I thank you for all the time you spent with me, just so I wouldn't be alone. You were always there when no one else was. When no one else wanted to be. I thank you for the times you cheered me up, when I was the most depressed. I thank you for the times you relieved all my stress during very stressful times. I thank you for all the advice you gave to me. You always told me the truth of the situation and told me the best thing I could do. And you never got ill at me for not taking your advice. You never once told me "I told you so" when things went wrong because I didn't take your advice. You always warned me of the consequences. I thank you for the night you held me so close to your body, and told me everything was going to be o.k. You made me feel so loved, and you even told me you loved me. I thank you for the love, the compassion, the trust in which you showed. I thank you for standing up for me. Telling everyone I was the best friend you could ever have. Letting everyone know that we were, in fact, best friends. I thank you so much for all that you have given to me. With out you, I would just be a lonely soul, searching for someone to trust. Some one to love. Some one to love me. Someone to run to with my problems. Someone to care for. But thanks to you, I have found everything I need, all in one. Thank you so much. Thank you Brett. Thank You For Your Comments....... A friend like that is hard to find, and I am so very happy I have found him.
