Point of Light

Be my guiding star, so bright
Showing me the way.
Be my north, my point of light
Lead me not astray.

Twinkle brightly, North star
Give me some direction.
Let me love you from afar,
I yearn for your affection.

Be my North Star, shining bright
For all the world to see.
Inspire me throughout the night
Take me through eternity.

Let me sit and languish
In the beauty of your glow.
Must I feel this anguish?
Why can’t I let you know?

I once wished upon a star,
Hoping dreams do come true.
Never dreamed it’d go so far.
My love, it brought me you.

How charged with punishments the scroll;

I am the captain of my soul.

Ah Tara, I can sense the longing in this one...nicely done. I hope your star falls to your corner of the world real soon.

Thank you, everyone, for your comments! Moonmoon, Prince Charming (as you call him) loves reading your comments to me over the phone. I think he can feel me blushing!
