Our Goodbye

They say that love can give your heart wings.
I never believed that
until I saw my heart fly back to Dallas.

I stood at the window,
waving as your plane taxied down the runway.
Not knowing if you could even see me.
Not really caring.
I just knew I had to wave goodbye
To the man who stole my heart.

You called me later,
to let me know you made it safely.
And to tell me that you saw me waving.
If I had known you could see me,
I would’ve blown you kisses.

Sad one Tara...

Hope he won't be gone too long.

Tara, dear friend,

The title should be "goodbye for now....hello to the future or something like that!"

I am working on a poem myself.....inspired by our conversation last night....

Love ya, sweet friend!

Tara, you are well deserving of this new found love and if this is any hint of future things to come because of your new found inspiration, we are quite fortunate too. This is a remarkable piece of work.

Ruth, thank you. He's been inspiring my poetry for a while, whether he knew it or not. There's a lot more poetry in my soul, inspired by our weekend together. I pray to find the words to express all that I feel.

Julie & Isis, I also hope he'll be back soon. We're discussing a few dates but they all seem to far away.

Sey and Julie Jordan Scott, thank you.

Tara~
Haven't seen you here for much too long a while.
I hope that someday you will return to see what we admirers STILL think of your beautiful poetry~

You are missed ... have a wonderful holiday season~
