Master of Disguise
I play the game well
I tease, torture, tantalize
I am the Master-
The Master of Disguise
You think I'm in control
I know all the moves, just what to do.
I'm dying to give up power.
I want to surrender myself to you.
Tear down these walls
I've worked so hard to build.
Hold me fiercely
’Til all my doubts have stilled.
Take me gently
Break my chains
Remove my fears
Let trust remain.

It matters not how strait the gate;
How charged with punishments the scroll;
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Marvelous, the masks we all wear to disguise ourselves...indeed true

Isis, your comment couldn't have come at a better time. I really needed to see that.

Thank you all for appreciating my poem.
