Butterfly kisses upon your brow
the only affection I can allow.
As you lie there in eternal slumber
do you feel my pain.. I wonder.

I am forced to remain behind
all alone.. my own way to find.
A life we shared, two hearts as one
I was your mom, you were my son.

How can I be forced to live
without the tender touch you give?
Your sound of laughter in the air
you and I .. the perfect pair.

I thought I'd be the first to die
this can't be true, must be a lie.
He was a child I scream out loud
him dying first shouldn't be allowed.

Just one more kiss before I go
and this one thing I hope you know.
Mommy loves you little man,
now go with Jesus, hold his hand.

As usual, you manage to tug at the heart strings. Wait can't write...........for those of us who have lost a child, this says it all! So beautiful.

Lucie this is too sad, too lovely...there aren't words to convey how it made me feel.
