Never Before

My arms have not held you
Not ever before
So why is it then
It’s you they long for

My hands have not touched you
Traced the curve of your face
Then why is it no one
Can take your place

My ears have not heard you
Not one single word
Though your words are the sweetest
That I’ve ever heard

My lips have not touched yours
With kisses so fine
Then why is it my lips
Can taste your sweet wine

My eyes have not seen you
So how can it be
When I look in my heart
It’s you that I see

Your my friend and my confidant
So please don’t forget
How much that I love you
Though we haven’t met

A gift was given you the day that you were born, then it was passed to all of us the day your pen found paper, now we all delight in the gift of love that you so beautifully speak of.

Beautiful Hoot....It saddened me. You
took the words right out of my heart. I had an experience this weekend in which your poem describes exactly what was
going through my mind....I loved your
poem.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! All the women think you are talking about Balladeer.

You have done well describing the undescribable. 'Tis wonderful to experience and wonderful to see others experiencing also.
