The flutterlies and faeries
burst their bubbles in the dawn
The gnomes bathe in the glittered dew
as dragons fight their yawns

The spirits are at rest now
as the little people wake
The day is meant for mischief
and its mischief that they'll make

For faeries its the creatures
they'll amuse the live long day
By torturing each other
and then calling foul play

The flutterflies will flutter
as it is their calling to
The sun will glisten on their wings
to decorate the highland yew

As to the gnomes they'll tumble
to and fro and all around
Making comments of one another
til they roll around the ground

The mighty awesome dragons
will protect their hideous lair
and breathe fires at the sun
to warm all the reside there

The day passes in fancy
and the dark is falling fast
Bringing midnight visitors
who strive to make it last

The spirits haunt the forest
for evil and for good
Some are satisfied to moan
others plague past points of rude

And so the little people live
and so they'll always be
A little bit more fanciful
than us, than you and me.

Pretty. Blessed be our new poetess, and join the glittering watch fires upon yon hill. Sit with us, share our cup and spin yarns with wild abandon. There will our soul rise up to flutter and fly.
