I enter the garden
of your soul
Reach for your hand there
a rose, so fragrant,
is tucked
in the wildness of
my flowing hair

You lead me to the center
where a small pond
reflects in blue
myriad colors of flowers
as I lay down
there with you

A bird sings in far off distance
In the water,
a fish splashes in glee
we lay with only our breath between us
our love, our passion
free

In your garden I have found
a love so peaceful and sublime
never leaving,
I give myself
to you now
and for all time.

Elegantly divine, DeVine one.

I really liked this poem, it gave me a sense of peace and love just to read it, and I think we all need that once in a while, to escape the turmoil of the real world into our own quiet world full of love.

Lol, I think even my pet bird can sense the feeling I have right now, she's making her kissy noises and saying "I love you."
