Days pass,
Time slowly ticks by,
and I find myself...
Lost without you.
Lonliness and sorrow,
tears run down my face,
and the sky is blue,
and I find myself...
lost without you.
A memory or few,
of love kissed by the dew,
and I find myself...
Lost without you.
Without you,
there is no joy, no happiness,
or even sorrow...A part of me has gone away,
never to stay forevermore.
and I go day to day hungry for your love,
love that you gave me before,
I search,
but cannot find the other part of my heart.
For my soul cries out it's lonely plea,
only death will set us free...and I find myself....
Lost without you!

Like a deep, empty gap and nothing can fill it. I could barely breathe when I read it. What does that tell you about your poem!

Beautiful! There seems to be a trend here lately - sad love poems that make me cry! I'm going to have to stock up on tissues!

I'm digging in the archives.......I think I know that feeling all too well.

Lots of hidden treasures in these pages of days and weeks gone past.  It's hard to believe how long it's been!!!!
