Two Little Flowers

(Its long so, If you dont have time to read it, dont.)

Down in the meadow
O’er yon hill
To the left of the wood
And next to the mill,
Two little flower's hands held high
Two little flowers in want they cry,
“Where is yellow where is gold”
Poor little petals
All shrivelled and cold;
Down in the meadow
Next to the mill
They spied there one- eyed
On hilltop_ still,
The glowing eye its rays beseech
A call to all to test their reach.

One little flower
All petaled in blue
Did chat to other of what to do,
“Align with me-
We’ll catch the bright,
Together our petals, in chase of light.”
The other little flower
All petaled in red
Uprooted herself from shadowy bed,
And so together-
With Petals in hand
They skipped away to a brighter land.

They ran to the wood
Away from the mill
Down to the meadow and up the hill,
Two little flowers
On hilltop sighed
To see in distance they’re golden eyed,
It was on the horizon
Gently leaning,
O’ dear…
They missed their chance
Of warmth and feeling.

On hilltop bare
They shed a dew
From petals red and petals blue,
To miss their eye
It was a shame
But not for trying, or wanting the same,
Two little souls
A sorrowful sight
Alone on the hill in the darkest of night.

Two little souls
On hilltop bare
Gazed at new light shining there,
It was not as bright
But somehow nice
To see a face on that cold night_ and then,
By chance, a comet bright
Did mark its name in passing flight,
Two little souls were held in ore
To see its flurry
In heavens soar,
Both agreed
To stay a while
And watch in wonder, this heavenly smile.

For on that hill
They spied a light
And then another they twinkled bright
In fact, the night was full of wonder,
A dog a bear
A thingamabob too,
Knowing not constellations, they named a few
To add a touch of romance and flair
A chorus of crickets did serenade the pair;
Two new lovers
One red one blue
Did swap their petals
In love, 'Tis true.

Many days
And starry nights
Were spent on hilltop there,
And if perchance
You find romance
In sharing moonlight air,
Then mind your step
For you’ll regret
To step on flowers there,
For every hill
In every land
Has flowers on hilltops bare…

…………………………

Down in the meadow
O’er yon hill
To the left of the wood
And next to the mill,
Two little flower's hands held high
Two little flowers, no want no cry,
Yes, they’ve found the answer
No chasing light, just cuddle together,
Sometimes blue
And sometimes red
Content they lay
In there flowery bed,
But when it’s dark, on that hill, at night,
They petal together
In romantic light…
