Self Rising
Like the wind you came seeking, blowing life in to the earths cracks
finding the dust that was my life, breathing air in to every grain
You are my breath of life
Like the Morning due, you came and drenched my dust with your juices
giving dimension back to me again
And like the truncal rain, you poured down on me when my soul was dehydrated and withered lifeless and still
You are my nourishment
Like the Thunders bolts of lightening that dances in the dark sky's above
where there was just a cloud, you sought out and found the sprite, electrifying me with your powerful will to live
You are my energy
Where darkness lay beneath the rock, that was my home
no light was ever there till you turned the rock over and beamed in the ray's of your gallant glow
giving warmth where only coldness was before
You are the light of my life
My eyes still blinded from the darkness, had no life or memory of life
but you shined so bright till they hurt, closing them tightly brought droplets of tears
washing away the dust from them, and I witness your glow, as I basked in the beauty of your charity
The colors of your eyes brown and amber gold and green gleamed through me
Something I'd not felt for so long began to pump inside me again, I felt the warmth of your giving
You are the blood of my being
I know now that no matter where it is I seek the truth
it comes from you and only you
I know now that the truth was there
when I let myself wither loosing all that was once important to me
I know now that it is only you I can count on
in times of trouble and to share my gladness
I know now that it is you and only you
that loves me for who I am and who I may be come
I know now that I am you, and you me..
And I know now, I love us

What a wonderful way to look at love

It is better to be silent and be considered a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
