Start from where you are

The start and port are in your heart.
The voyage into fantasy,
The cargo is the player's part
The voyage is to ecstasy.

The ship carries a wanting soul.
With empty holes below its sail.
Its shape is like some beggars bowl
Sailing towards some far travail.

A phantom's ship, a phantom's sea,
Loads of wishes and aspire.
A phantom's cargo bonhomie,
A fantasy of desire.

Some journeys sail a stormy sea
And some a doldrums never start.
The captain's soul the appointee
And home and port are in your heart.

So point your ship upon a star.
And dream your dream however far.

I liked the beginning and the end but you lost me somewhere in the middle. I grasp the concept you are protraying. The flow or the feeling wasn't as strong. Just my opinion. I am NO expert. By the way....I was looking in CA and you were refered to a milady. Is the handle purposely deceiving?

Balladeer,
Always glad for a comment from you.
Marilyn,
Thank you for the read and comments, but I don't understand your CA reference and the milady remark?
Pepper,
You are a sweet and faithful reader, thank you.
