Random Acts v. Dark Intent

I’ve no mind for someone who weaves
around their dark intentions and leaves
sadness in their wake,
I’d rather take
the chance to bring a smile, not a frown
to the people I chance to hang around.

No one needs to stand alone, encumbered
with dark, mean words interrupting slumber
because they broke
with words they spoke
the essence of one’s life, someone’s dream
just for a chance to pass around their mean.

Ah, those with dark intentions come and roam
invading lives, loves, romances, homes,
an intruder, yes,
with hateful caress
taking from those who have worked so long
at a life’s vision’s dream, once lingering, now gone.

I think in life’s long hall of justice here on earth
if I were to have a case of any substantial worth
“Random Acts versus
Dark Intent’s Curses”
then by passions of good people gathered forth
we’d send those with dark intent far, far south of north.

I’d banish them to their own Hell’s delights
where they could then live with their own frights
while here above
we could love
and continue on with simple, random acts of kindnesses
sprinkled liberally with love, hugs, and comforting kisses.

Sunshine, I too would like to banish the darkly intentional people to their own Hell and see how they would fare. This piece has an interesting meter. Good work.

Sunshine: I do not say this lightly, but this is one of the best poems I've encountered within these poetic halls. A really great message finely worded. I liked the style you chose as well. Top shelf material! Thanks for sharing, I bow to you and yours.

Excellent, Sunshine. Great message! I guess we all know our share of people with dark intentions. Thank God we know more of the other kind!!

Truly a utopia this world would be,
if everyone helped those in misery.
Your dislike of the Dark perspective,
interferes with God's directive.
I believe he said to love one another,
and treat our enemies as a brother.

I got your e-mail and would have responded in kind, but I'm having trouble sending out. Don't know the cause... I guess I'll have to make contact with my computer guru. All the same, I only wish to say "you're welcome" and that I believe "in credit, where credit is due." Once again, a great read.
