DreamEvil challenged me to write 2 poems.. one for the Adult forum titled "Chain of Lust" and one for the Open forum "Chain of Love" this was the result.

This chain of love was started
with two single golden bands.
Each circle never ending
placed upon each others hands.

A few simple words in front of God
close friends and family.
Though guests will soon forget this day
the couple holds it close in memory.

For this one moment in their lives
is the cover to their marriage book.
They will fill the pages up with love
and all the things it took.

Some books have painful chapters,
some chapters filled with love,
some just scramble through it blindly,
some use guidance from above.

The truth about the marriage book
that each of us must learn.
We’re writing a great novel
with each new page we turn.

So pen your novel wisely
and protect your chain of love.
Don’t scramble through it blindly
use some guidance from above.

wonderful,Lucie! I love your idea of comparing marriage to writing a novel.

Nice one, Lucie. I especially like the last two lines.

But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..."

Lucie,
I've read both and I really like this one.
You have a way with words and a fine talent.

Lucie dear, I shed a tear at the heartbreak that can make such verse. Well done, I hope you find my reply to your Adult challenge as well made.
