Where, When, Why

Where does a man go to cry
When his pain is so deep
When there's no room
To stuff anything else

Why can't a man hurt
When relationships end
Why can't a man be sad
When it's all over

Don't fall for your friend
Cause when it comes to an end
There's no going back to your
Lost lover and lost friend.

that last stanza amazes me. there's no unwritten law that says you can't remain friends because the love affair didn't work out. some people just don't know that, though, unfortunately. falling for a friend, probably the worst heartache there is. *sigh*

Society has written some really stupid "gender rules" ... but it takes more of a man to break them than to follow them. Listen to your heart ... break rules if you have to ... it will never steer you wrong.

Nice writing.
