I came to you
in lonesome's
grip
looking for
release.
You slayed that beast
that held
my heart
and against my will
I loved you.

You gentled me
when I rebeled
with broken wings
you held me.
So patiently
you made me see
not everyone
sees the ugly.

Finally
defenses fell
and I returned
your words.
You released me
from bonds of
misery
And when I held on
to you....
You let me go.

Searing ...cuts to the quick ... emotions coveyed so vividly, yet honest ...thank you again

Sounds like the Requiem of the Butterfly.

Well done, Lady!
