I wake up alone
Seeing nothing next to me.
I thinks as i do every day,
That my bed is too big for me alone.

I miss having you next to me,
To feel your body against mine.
I long to feel your touch and
Smell your hair.

I miss the way you laugh,
The smile on your face.
Hardly a day goes by without
Me thinking of you.

Love is a bond that can never
Be severed by mere mortals.
Only God can undo what he makes,
And he has yet to unmake my love for you.

Welcome, Loranth ...

This poem is exactly what I feel for my love, every morning when I wake ... how did you manage to read my mind..?

Hope you won't mind if I ask him to read it too ...

A wonderful poem .. reminding me of that moment in the morning ..as the dreams fade ... and if I lay very still... I can almost feel her presence or smell her hair ... very moving ...thank you
