H ey diddle diddle Alicat and his fiddle
E yed the cow jumping over the moon
S aid with a curse upon reciting this verse
A h crap he’ll be landing real soon
I said to Alicat then said to the spoon
D o you have time to tell the ole dish?
W e’ll get together and laugh on this later
R eally hope I’m granted this wish
I rony says the dog laughed off his head
T oo bad he was squashed by the cow
E veryone would talk about the headless dog
A ll them talk of the squashed one now
B out the cow we all came to love him now
O ut of a cast that numbers quite many
U nder lies Alicat, dog, dish and the spoon
T oo all he’s least of these ninnies
A bout me now I’d say this challenge somehow
C aused me to lose at least one nights sleep
O h I’d say dear Alicat next time I twill
W rite about counting lost sheep!

Good poem, Walt. hahaha ... kind of a twist, I never thought about the cow's landing. Couldn't possibly be too graceful.

WoW, you answered this challenge magnificently!
I cackled at the acrostic, and broke down into spastic giggles as I read this one through. But Lawd, how them facial muscle cramps smart...
