I await...at the edge
of the Forest...
for the feather of an
Eagle
to fall,
to hold in my outstretched
hand
to fly once
again.

In my grasp of my right hand
a tan and white
feather
flies in the Wind.
Once
twice-thrice
I hear
the strident voice
of
Shadow Eagle.

Stonewalls and Oak Trees
an Indian Maiden
be
and someone else
I
cannot see.
Looking, searching
finding
what was lost now found.
Sunshine
peeking through green leaves,
shadows dispelled
in afternoon light.
A brown wallet
old and torn
lying underneath of
an old wooden wheel,
rusty ax,
and a musket.

We three sitting, singing
not in unison
an old song roundabout
...mayar tambien...
many more words.
3 wolfcubs come out of the woods
shy
friendly
stumbling.

Above
the trees O so high
circling
and flying off.
Setting
of the Western sun
of stonewalls and Oak Trees
an Indian Maiden
be
an someone else
I
could not see.
I await
