Faerie enchantment dances from your eyes.
It has enraptured and captured my heart.
Like the newborn sun our passion does rise.
Your bewitching spell was only the start.

You cast your charms with ease born of the Sidhe.
Masculine sorcery casts it's own spell.
With tender regard I drew you to me.
Before you knew it you loved me as well.

Magical love has come to full flower.
Each breath we share serves to deepen that love.
Eyes wide we bask in each others power.
With tears of joy we thank the Gods above.

I enfold you in my arms tenderly.
Soon I know that holding you, I find me.

Love has so many facets, I believe you portrayed the tender, joyful aspect very well. I enjoyed this muchly, I did.

I liked this one. I've read a lot of your work here in the Open Poetry forum (I read the ones with the most responses first and comment on those that I find to be good) and as of yet have found little reason to comment on most of your stuff. But this poem was very good and I thought I should let you know.

Majere? As in Raistlin and Caramon of Dragon Lance fame, or Kitiara?

Thank you for the reply.

Delightful. I wonder if you would mind if I sent this one to my love (with full credit given, of course).

Dream, I absolutely love this piece! I don't even know what to say.... you know it's good when you've got me speechless!
