A Beloved Prayer

In a flash things change
The Lord calls someone home
Why a loved one we cant explain
Only to Him is the reason known

People wish to say so much
When words can not suffice
And we are unable to touch
A thought or prayer is nice

With this prose I offer
A simple and humble prayer
Your loved ones have crossed over
And are now in God's care

That's very sweet and comforting - an extension of Poetfemmefatale's welcome to you, also.

Thank you for making me feel welcome. There was a tragic loss to a family. I frequent another board and was moved to write this as so many were saying "I don't know what to say."
