In stillness of the morning calm,
She rose forth from her slumber,
Her visage was a soothing balm,
My soul did unencumber.
I gazed upon as bloom arose,
As crossed unto to the window,
Flourescence of a summer rose,
Enframed in morning's glow.
She stood as picture in a frame,
Angelic silhouette,
From forth the heavens she had came,
My beauteous statuette.
As flowing stream, her silken hair,
Cascaded cross her face,
As a diamond solitaire,
Was stricken by her grace.
She gazed out on the world below,
This goddess from above,
Within my heart I then did know,
She was my world, my love.

The thought is good. I'd love to see this one in the critical analysis forum.

Lovely! It must be great to be married to a poet like you - your wife gets all these beautiful tributes to her! Tell her we think she's a lucky lady too!
