Today's our anniversary,
And from the bottom of my heart,
To show my love for you my dear,
We're heading to K-mart.

First I'll let you pick a card,
One that you'll adore,
Read it and then put it back,
We'll save two bucks or more.

Then we will wait patiently,
For a sale to be announced,
Maybe a "Blue Light Special?"
On a bra or wool night gown!

Then we'll really go all out,
And have a dinner just for two,
Would ya like a Big Mac?
I'll leave that up to you!

Toerag, I always suspected that you were a very generous person. Now you have shown me what a good judge of character I am!

And really, I left off the big surprise....I plan on stopping by the cemetary on the way home and give her a nice bouquet of flowers. She wasn't terribly impressed with those plastic ones from K-mart last year...even though I did let her pick them out?....Women! So hard to understand yanno?....

I would think this poem alone is worth that trip to K-Mart and McDonalds...and there are enough flowery phrases here she doesn't need a bouquet! (I saw your wife shopping at the Goodwill Store for you - hope you like lime green pants!)

Toerag, I started reading this one, and thought it was gonna be another deep down in the soul one, then I got to K-mart and I burst out laughing. You are good, your wife must ROTFL all the time.

Toerag, your generosity is exceeded only by your waistline.

Of course she would prefer a Big Mac! Who wouldn't?

Hey!!
Who's having Big Mac?
You'll have to pass that one by me first...

ROFLMAO!! I just read a sign on a van today that said "When I die, I want my ashes spread along the parking area of Wal-Mart. At least my wife will come visit me every day!"
