He was so lonely
Cuz of his nose
It made him quite homely
It "honked" when he "blowed."

So then Balladeer
Decided to go,
To have something done
Bout his Pinnochio-like nose;
.........SO................

He gotta nose job, a real nose job,
It's now turned up instead of hangin' down
He gotta nose job, a real nose job,
Now he's the purtiest guy in town.

He never had a girl, he could walk home
He never had a gal who cared,
Now he's never left alone,
Since he had his schnoz repaired.

He never had a gal, to taste his lips
His future looked mighty bleak,
Now he's on every gal's list
Since he overhauled his beak.

Now Balladeer, has a nose,
That really is quite unique,
Just one big nostril, on one side,
To pick at when he eats!

Ah-HA! LOL. I knew Balladeer must have some major flaw... and it certainly isn't his poetry! LOL.

For some strange reason, I'm suddenly much more satisfied with my appearance this morning... I think I'll cancel that appointment with the plastic surgeon! After this many years, I'm used to that divider between my nostrils! LOL. Great poem, Toe... thanks for the grins!

As a worthy opponent, I think you're bombin'
I see that very well.
What this poem and my nose have in common
Is....they both really smell!

You took a chance to get at me,
Thinking there was nothing to it
But you did what I did to my nose...
This time you really blew it!
