Hurtful words flew out of my mouth,
Before I could even stop.
I now realize what I said was wrong
From trying to remain on top.

If I could erase your memory
Of words that burn with pain,
I'd try with the strongest eraser
Ridding any trace that remains.

Your forgiveness I ask in sincerity
And I'm hoping you'll think twice
Before you answer I don't think so-
Just please follow my own advice.

It's not worth a grudge to hold
For it eats you in the end.
Forgive, move ahead, look forward.
Don't look back - begin again.

Car Girl

This was great! This is the Car Girl I remember from before. Great job, lil one. It is always better to forgive, because the pain stops when the forgiving begins.

This was nice! Quite good advice! Always better to forgive, even tho' it's not always so easy.

Grudges are a waste of time
energy and love...
much better to follow your advice
as many often do
