tootsie

that old bed was cozy with you there
all that hair
and your nose in my ear
so soft..
the sound of your feet
as they challenged that newly waxed floor
slidin all the way to the patio door..
i miss that.
sarge..the coward that he was
thunder claps were not his forte'..
his refuge was between the bathtub and comode
i guess to him that seemed the safest place.
i guess i miss you both.

Warm and heartfelt. Made my ears tickle ...

------------------
"Nunc lento sonitu dicunt, morierus"
(When I hear the bell tolling softly for another, it says to me, "Thou must die.")

This is really really nice, and it flows so well. Great imagery - and it's hard to lose a pet you love isn't it?
