To Isabel

I pledge my love this year once more,
Add to the fifty six before.
The word of love that means so much,
The fifty six just seemed a touch.

A love that's hard to qualify,
Your actions like a butterfly.
And to my friends, I'm in your debt,
The gift, of the butterfly net.

But over all, its still a ball,
Each winter, summer and each fall.
And whatever the future store?
My love for you, can hold no more.

This is absolutely beautiful, Your wife is blest to have you in her life, as you are equally blest to have her. I really loved this, thanks for sharing it with us.

Look at all of the time that's passed...
not one as yet to be called the last
and still the strings of heart are strung;
and still the song of love, is sung...

to both our Sy,
and our Isabelle...

a love's light
should never, ever
be hidden
by a basket.

Ain't love just grand?  You are no different than the rest of the world, with their ups and downs, only you have mastered the art.

This is the poem to end my night with. It makes me smile and it makes me sad.  Sometimes, I just wish that I knew people and this is a couple that I would have loved to know.

Goodnight, Mr. Tabin.

Dear Seymour, I clicked Archives and then your name and found this most lovely poem for your dear wife. You are still within our hearts and I do hope you are having a great time where you are now ... possibly continuing to write poetry.

Who knows one day we shall meet again.

With love,
Margherita

Ah, Margherita,

Our Seymour and his beloved may not be in the bodily forms they once inhabited, but their souls will be known to a poet such as yourself.

This, I believe, for this,

I believe.

I plan on giving them both a great hug...without
Isabel, he would have never written all
that he did...

and I want to hear him with my own soul.
