My apologies to the man in front of me
I had to take the very last seat you see
and now I’m sobbing, nay bawling
almost hysterically!

I can’t believe you aren’t touched
by the tragedy on the screen
the pathos and the heartache
are the most touching I’ve ever seen

I know my weeping annoys you
as you turn and try to shush me
I can’t seem to stop this flow
I feel such pain for poor Bambi!

I've never seen anyone try to rhyme 'shush me' and 'Bambi' before! Very innovative, deVine one!

well, i absolutely hate Disney (i know how un-american of me!) but enjoyed your poem deVine...i have friends who get all teary-eyed at the movies...i prefer to do that in the privacy of my home, and usually can check my calender when i shed tears over a movie
