My boyfriend dragged me to this show
filled with blood and guts and gore
I’m so bored with all this macho stuff
don’t know if I can stand any more.

If you hear me talking behind you
it’s because this is the way my ‘type’ unloads
pent up anger and frustrations
while everything on the screen explodes

Now if this was a romantic tale
of love both lost and found
you’d find me quiet as a mouse in church
I would not make one little sound.

Perhaps your rude behavior could possibly be excused.
But consider other people, who are truly unamused.

If the movie really bothers you, the maybe you will find,
in the theatre lobby a collection of your kind.

Here you can feel free to chat and gab about the status of your woes.
And maybe make new friends for dates to future "chick-flick" shows.

Well done short and to the point. Your talent
is showing. But isnt it a give and take?

I know just what you all should do
Combine your likes for flicks -
Then if you choose some differently
Your VCR's the trick........

In truth I hate talkers in movies! Each weekend I go to a movie with a group of friends. We've been on a scary movie kick recently so I rate the movie by the number of times someone jumps in their seat. "The Haunting" was a 2 jumper. "The Sixth Sense" was a 4 jumper. We have not had the courage to see "Blair Witch Project", not sure the jumpers in our group could handle it! (My next project is for the Prose Forum - it's titled "The Spare Bitch Project"...everyone should have one........

Nice one poet.

We've all sat in front of you at one time or another before. You only seem to stop when Mel Gibson takes off his shirt.
