I sit here underneath these trees,
Overlooking the rising seas.
Constant thoughts drive me insane,
As I await the cold, hard rain.

Thoughts of passion....
Thoughts of pain....
Thoughts without ration....
And thoughts in vain,

So many feelings I collect in shame,
Someone please help stop, this runaway
train.

Suddenly, a warm wind blows embracing
me....
Comforting me.....
Opening my eyes allowing me to see,
That life is what I wish it to be.

In turn, I lower myself to a knee,
Thanking the "Lord" for making me free.

And as I gaze from under these great towers,
I shake and cower at "Mother Natures"
power.
The trees shed their blossoms and flowers,
As I am enveloped by their velvet showers....

very well done indeed, Mark...the varying format/style expressed the emotional confusion perfectly
