When does one stop being a NEW member? What does it take to be part of the scene? Does it take teasing and complaining Or just just being harsh and mean? (LOL) I've only written a tiny bit, I'm not a poet at heart, But I enjoy reading and responding And really want to take part. So if you can tell me dear people, How to erase that little word NEW, I'd sure appericate your help And send you a kiss or or two! |

Dear Lorelei, as a true Devoted reader, you're not "new" Though it may seem extremely cold You have the right to be called old. But there must be a cut-off point To lose the "new" around this joint That's how we came to arrive At the number 25. 25 entries, poems or replies And the "new" will vanish from your eyes. Whether it takes a day or twenty years, With 25 calls, it disappears. |
