As shadow's fold in to dark,
no light of day to find
With only moon beams brilliance,
left to chill the mind
As parents tuck their children,
in to there little nests
And wash the day of done,
off their aching chests
As they lie with-in their cradles,
of quilted feathered fray
I rise from rested sleep,
to take their dreams away
Their doors they try to cover,
with eye's shut, I still see
All I need discover,
to enter in to thee
As lowly fear has planted,
a seed of weakening ill
I fly into the night,
and strip them of their will
I creep into their dreams,
and beckon my command
In sleep they do awaken
to heed to my demands
As thy welcoming chamber
is offered up to me
I fly into the night
into the night I feed

From those with wretched tongue,
who dare to curse my name
I take more then I need
to kindle Satan's flame

`Tis weak of heart and mind
and coy misguided slum
That gaze into my eye's,
with a silver deviled tongue,
Into my eyes they stare,
these meek mindless swine
Seeing nothing there
of the life they left behind
Intoxicating power
pulling at their soul
they see the feeding hour
And the lust it does unfold
In anticipation of pleasures
they have never known
They lay upon the bed,
as they wait to be my own
Toss away the nightie
and brush away their hair
With their eye's wide open
In trance they find me there
One to one connection
One is all they know
severing one, their master
For eternity they go
As their jugular invites me
I thrust like the thorn of the rose
Feeding for the hunger,
I drain their body's dry
For death shall not be still,
as we live admits the night
I feed until I have them,
under my control
They moan with satisfaction
Giving up their soul

Chills are still running up and down my spine... This one made me want to lock my door at night a little more tightly!!! This was truly a masterpiece.

Tori, WOW! This piece is so frightening! I too shall be checking the locks on my doors at night! I could feel my heart pounding as I read this! Wow...

tori

this was a wee bit too scary for me. I think I'll just wander on over to my profile and change my address. see ya (I hope not).

good job - I like it for the images you were able to invoke.
