The world is going straight to hell,
As I'm sure you all have seen,
Seems there's bad news everyday,
Murders-rape and robberies.

It's not safe out on the street,
It's unsafe to be alone,
Nasty obscene calls when
You pick up the telephone.

We once could leave our doors unlocked,
Feel secure and worry not
But now that would be ludicrous,
You'd surely end up robbed.

It's because of that damned internet,
I read so just yesterday,
They really need to censor it,
There's just no other way.

I don't know how we'll ever stop
The smut from near and far,
And all that porn I see nightly,
On my VCR!

Uh... Toe... you kinda lost connection with your moralistic fervor on that last stanza... or was that an integrity crash? LOL. I love the poem, sweets!
