What is the beast, that God so fears?
Which makes him shiver, sleeping tears.
Where once before, he said on high,
"When the end has come, you'll all be tried."
But what has happened?
Since long ago.
Now we're advanced, launch shuttle probes.
When the locust come, will we not kill them?
Though God brought it, they are not fearsome.
When the earth does crack and fires rain,
we will leave in a shuttle plane.
And the War of Heaven and Hell
will dredge on and on...
We humans won't care, we'll be long gone.
He gave us life, we hold it dear.
Now we haven't God to fear.
And when he pleads,
for his subjects, to him so dear.
We have gone so far away from Armageddon,
to a safe, everlasting new place,
will we even hear?

Hehehehe...witty. With all the fears of Y2K and holy prophecies from long gone agnostics, self-fulfilling of course, this one at least offers an alternative. But if the Man and His Beaurocratic Machine have anything to do with it, this project will be postponed until they can tax the warring factions.

God say," But I've got to send my angels in there."
Clinton replies'" No you Highness. We'll sanction them. Send in inspection teams! You foot the bill oc course."
God, dumbfounded, stuuters," damn it to hell..."
