Her fragile body sits in the shadows,
she awaits her lover; dark creature of night.
A young girl's innocence lost in his eyes,
she craves and longs for his painful bite.

He rises from his velvet coffin,
he thrives on the shadows of fear.
He cast a wicked, tempting grin,
and flies to take her life so dear.

As she whimpers and crawls to her bed,
she asks of the lord a request.
She asks to be tortured in the chambers of hell,
as her cold, black heart pounds in her chest.

Her life has been a living hell,
when she dies, she'll be right back at home.
Kept in a cell, the dark ones will dwell,
and she'll become one as well.

Her devil with a handsome face,
has come to drink her life.
He walks towards her pathetic being,
in his hands, a razor-sharp knife.

One quick slit and her red blood flows,
he places her in sinking mud.
He smiles as demons take her soul,
and sips from his chalice of blood.

Exactly why I wrote this poem! Sometimes we all feel like we're on the verge of suicide. True? Well, this was about a girl who was badly mistreaten. So in response, she subjected herself to the power of evil! I hope no one ever tries to attempt that. Be happy! Thanks Psycodillica! And hi!

Isn't it interesting all the different avenues that lie within our minds? You brought one out in a very interesting, and well written, manner. What else lurks up there?

Honestly Balladeer, I really don't know what lurks in my mind. Somehow I've managed to venture into some dark, unknown territory.
But, a million thanks for your kind reply...
