They way he looks into my eyes
it makes my heart beat fast.
I think about the memories
the love I swore would last.

The time that passes ticking by
I need him by my side.
If the marriage dies to soon
least I can say I tried.

I took proxy vows this year
in hopes to get him home.
I guess I didn’t stop to think
I’d spend this year alone.

Temptation seems to beckon me
everywhere I turn.
Its not the need for sex that hurts
its for the companionship I yearn.

I tried to hide inside my house
away from prying questions.
Yet no one has the answer
when I ask for their suggestions.

Many have opinions
that they give at any chance.
Many have the desire
to fill my life with romance.

But they are not the ones I want
my heart is true to one.
So I will hide inside myself
and wait for him to come.

LUCIE, THIS ONE GAVE ME CHILLS & THEN MADE ME CRY. CUZ I KNOW WHO YUR TALKIN BOUT & HOW MUCH YUR HURTIN FOR HIM TO COME HOME. YOUR RIGHT WHEN U SAY "NO ONE HAS THE ANSWERS, ONLY OPINIONS". WISH I COULD MAKE IT ALL BETTER FOR YA GURL. BUT NO ONE IS GONNA TAKE HIS PLACE. THAT VOID WON'T BE FILLED TIL HE GETS THERE. BUT HE WILL GET THERE LUCIE. JUST KEEP SMILIN GURL & KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU & AM ALWAYS JUST A KEYBOARD AWAY.
