Corporeal being,
Mind, will, hopes and desires.
Crammed into a body,
That is destined to
Age, degenerate and die.
When this body ceases to function.
Will its mind, will, hopes and desires survive its passing?
To find rebirth immediately within another,
Or will this soul.....
If you choose to call it thus;
Exist on another plane of consciousness, of preconsciousness.
A plane where this soul may consider the consequences,
Of actions taken in its previous existence.
To ponder and question it's own consciousness for answers.
And is it possible that upon completion of such examination,
This soul of its own conscious decision;
Be reborn into another corporeal being.
To continue the lessons,
Make amends and pay karmic debts.
So that when this body ceases,
This soul will be allowed to ascend to the next
Higher plane of consciousness.

Ah the questions of life and death...thought provoking poem, Enotneicna.
