I was sitting at home one day,
watching Kirsten pretend, and play.

The dog was growling, 'cause he's mean,
Rugrats was on the T.V. screen.

When out of nowhere came a scream,
and through the window came a beam.

So I looked out the door, and what did I see?
Aliens were calling out to me.

They said, "come with us, come join the fun,
we are having a party for everyone!"

So I looked at the ship, bright as can be,
and decided ok come and get me.

Up I went into the beam of light,
preparing to take off on this marvelous flight.

But half way up the ship broke down,
it crashed and burned most of the town.

I thanked God when I saw everyone,
on the ship, they were having fun.

Then I woke up, it was just a dream,
when all the sudden I heard a scream...

I like it, I do poems a lot like yours. I sometimes do ones with dreams or other things like E.T.'s and stuff. Keep up the good work!

Thank-you Delores and Sundance. This was the first time I wrote a poem like this. I was just sitting there doodling on paper.
